MATTHIJS MELCHIORS AIA, NCARB
Matthijs is a resourceful architect with an innate ability to think outside the box to generate design solutions that maintain the objectives and aesthetic intent of the client, while pushing the envelope of modern day design philosophies. His knowledge base in green design and ability to use simple and sustainable materials to create eloquent, cost effective design solutions make him a great option for clients or teams in need of architectural services.
Matthijs received his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of architecture, and is licensed to practice throughout the state of Texas.
JIE MELCHIORS ACCA
Jie is a very creative and multi-faceted individual. Her extensive knowledge of finance and business strategy experience in architectural services and construction management makes her a key asset to the industry. Her keen insight and ability to track and evaluate business trends allows her to gain a competitive edge within the architectural and design community. Being an excellent communicator/observer and listener, Jie naturally draws the attention from anyone around her.
Jie received her Bachelors of Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University in England, and is licensed Chartered Certified Accountant.
Jason has a broad knowledge of construction management and possesses the ability to oversee all the technical aspects of the design process. Since starting his architectural profession in 2001, Jason has worked on a wide variety of projects. He has developed an innate ability to look at projects from multiple perspectives in order to find effective solutions.
Jason received his Bachelors of Architecture from Texas A&M University.
Canston is a receptive student architect and intern with a genuine interest in green design strategies, and renewable resources and materials. He displays a wide range of assets necessary for project development including BIM implementation.
Canston is currently enrolled in the architecture program at the University of Houston.
Jaqueline has a passion for innovative design. Her experience in unconventional construction methods and material research has led her to MEL/ARCH Studio.
Jaqueline is pursuing her Masters of Architecture degree and currently serves on the Executive Board for the local AIAS chapter.
